“Count Up the Cost”
Running your own business is a no
non-sense endeavor! There are countless issues that arise daily
that require constant attention. If you are not up for a good fight
then you might want to reconsider leading a multibillion-dollar
corporation. It is essential to have more than the dream of opening
a business but passion, persistence and great patience is vital to
achieve longevity in your venture. When your business begins to
expand there will be even more required. There will be battles to
win over fatigue, weariness in your mind, frustration and a whole
gamut of emotional stresses to war through.
The
power of your passion’s fire
will move you to arise each morning and face any form of adversity
and opposition. It will help you to remain steadfast during the
changing seasons of your business.
The
potency of your persistence
will continue to propel you forward when your heart is beating faint
and your mind is searching for viable reasons to throw in the towel
of your dreams.
The
poignant nature of patience
will grace you with the ability to wait for the promise and endure
hardness as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. It will empower you to
count it all joy as you rejoice in the Lord.
As you are faced with tests and
trials, count up the cost of being great, count up the cost of
rising to the top, count up the cost of leaving your mark in this
world. It costs to be the boss! When you tally up the cost make
sure that it adds up to nothing less than God being glorified
through Christ Jesus. If it comes up to anything other than you
growing in the knowledge of who He is, it isn’t worth the pursuit!
Remember, “Destiny awaits you and purpose is calling your name!”
Philippians 3:8
But moreover I also count all things
to be loss on account of the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ
Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all
things and count them as refuse that I may win Christ.
